YEAR ROUND CLASSES
These classes are specially designed to complement the classes your child takes daily or weekly at Hillsboro Elementary/Middle School and include group and individual instruction in music, art and computer technology.  Instructors include several HEMS instructors, as well as KOS Summer Academy instructors.

 

Students who participate in KOS year-round classes will be eligible to perform in KOS productions at such venues as:

Leiper’s Fork Chili Cook Off,  Dickens of a Christmas, Franklin Main Street Festival, Puckett's Grocery in Franklin and Leiper's Fork

 

PRIVATE LESSONS
AVAILABLE MONDAY – THURSDAY

FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS

Cost:  $25/30-minutes; $40/hour.  Classes are booked on a monthly basis, except for Audition Preparation, Garage Band, and Pro Tools, which are booked per lesson.  Payment is due monthly before the 10th.

College scholarship auditions (classical, jazz, theater and acting), Musical theater, Advanced placement camps and summer, intensive programs, Piano and/or guitar tracks can be created for your specific needs

GARAGE BAND

Instructor:  Todd Warren

An excellent introductory program for recording solo and band demos.  Classes booked in 1-hour increments are taught in a fun, non-threatening, easy-to-understand format by one of Kids On Stage’s favorite instructors.

BASS

Instructor: John Terrence
Fretted and Fretless Electric Bass as well as Acoustic Upright Bass

Beginning through advanced training. 


GUITAR

Instructor: Alan Rudd

Beginning through advanced training in rock, country and blues styles.   Mr. Rudd RULES!

 

KEYBOARD

Instructor:  Mimi Johnston

Beginning through advanced training in popular and classical styles.
Reading music, Ear training, Music Theory, Nashville numbers system

 

PRO TOOLS RECORDING

Instructors:  Scott Gerow, Todd Warren

Beginning through advanced work in the industry-standard digital recording technique.  For individuals or small groups, booked in 1-hour increments.

 

VOICE

Instructors: Annette de la Torre, Linda Davis, Robert Jason, Mimi Johnston, J. Kelley Studios, Margaret Rose, Laurie Wheeler. 
Kids On Stage has relationships with many of the best voice and vocal performance instructors both on-staff and in private practice throughout the Nashville area.  We recommend instructors based on individual students’ needs, as well as location.  

 

Beginning through advanced solo and small group vocal study in:
Classical, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Musical Theater, Stage Performance, Commercial Singing
